Biography

Regina Handoko is one of Indonesia’s most talked about sopranos in her generation with powerful stage presence and impressive high notes. She took vocal lessons with several famous classical singers such as Catherine W. Leimena, Binu D. Sukaman, Joseph Kristanto Pantioso, etc; had a vocal guidance from Towako Sato Schollhorn in Freiburg, Germany; and also achieved her Vocal Diploma in Music Performance from Trinity College Music London In Singapore. She won 1st prize of “Vienna Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition” in Vienna, Austria (2019) and 2nd Prize of “New York Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition” in New York, USA (2020). She performed in Wiener Musikverein and Carnegie Hall. As a harpist, She performed with many famous orchestras in Indonesia, such as Twilite Orchestra, Jakarta City Philharmonic Orchestra, Jakarta Concert Orchestra, Bandung Philharmonic Orchestra, Jakarta Symphonia Orchestra.
